August went wayyyyy too fast for me! I turned 24 on the 7th and Michael took me to Sunset Hills Winery where we did a wine tasting and enjoyed the beautiful weather. It was a nice and relaxing birthday.
My last day at Capital Women's Care was on August 20th. It was tough to say good-bye for I met some great people who have become good friends of mine. I cannot say enough about the providers and nurses there; it was a joy to work with and for them.
Today I am "officially" all moved in to my home in DC. I am living approximately one block from the northern part of the Georgetown campus which is extremely convenient since the nursing building, where most of my classes are held, is located at the northern end of campus. My first day of class is Wednesday but orientation is tomorrow and Tuesday. I am excited to begin and enjoy the city and what it has to offer while I am here!
